Removal of the Root Addon

Dear Backers,

Initially we had hoped to offer Root as an optional add-on for the Vast: TMM campaign. However, on reviewing our expected inventory, there are scenarios where we are simply not sure if we would be able to hold enough Root in reserve to meet demand. So, we have decided to remove the addon from the campaign. If you included Root in your pledge, you will need to revise your pledge. If you forget to do this before the end of the campaign, you can still get a refund through Backerkit but this will take more time and you're better off adjusting your pledge now.

When Root does have its retail release in August, we will be offering direct orders through our website, and I will post an update to this campaign letting everyone know when we begin selling it. This is really for your benefit--we want to make sure that folks who want to buy Root directly from us will have every opportunity to get it. We have a sense they will move quickly once the game hits retail

Off to Origins and Development Diaries

Hey everyone,

Tomorrow everyone at Leder Games will be traveling to Ohio for Origins. We'll be showing off the first production copies of Root and demoing a lot of Vast. If you are at the fair, please come visit us and give Vast: the Mysterious Manor a try!

Over the course of the fair, we won't be able to monitor the comments section as closely as usual (so please, be nice to one another!). 

Hopefully we'll have time to step away and share some pictures of the game and our booth (and Casty) with you all. We should be in the office early next week and will do our best to get to any outstanding questions as quickly as we can.
